I have been to Burger Barons throughout Alberta and this one is actually the best I have visited. Owners are friendly. Burgers are tasty and filling. Pleasantly suprised.

I love Burger Baron, and make a point of going there whenever I find myself in any small northern AB town (it seems they all have a BB). On this occasion, I ordered the mozzarella burger and onion rings. My total came to about $9.
The mozza burger came with their "special sauce". I had burgers at other BB locations, and their "special sauce" was kind of a ketchup sauce. However, at this location it was a pretty bland white sauce. Since the sauces seem to vary between locations, I wish they would describe them on the menu. My other criticism is that the bun was way too big for the burger. The onion rings were nice and fresh, but personally I like the onion pieces to be larger so that I can taste them more.
The best thing about BB is everything is made to order and tastes fresh. The burger patties are obviously frozen and not the best quality, but somehow they still seem to taste good.
